China Railway First Group Co., Ltd. With development of business scope, the Bureau contracts various engineering works. it can undertake the construction of railway, highway, bridge, tunnel, municipal facility, industry and civil construction, water conservancy, water and electricity, water supply and drainage, communication, signal, electric power, deep water foundation, subway, high-rise building and large scale airport. It can undertake the repair of various imported and domestic construction machinery and automobile. It can undertake the processing, manufacturing and installation of various equipment and vessel as well as engineering design, technical consulting and supervisory.
      Since the founding of the Bureau over 50 years, it has built tens of long and trunk railways over 9500km long, including Tianshui-Lanzhou railway, Lanzhou-Xinjiang railway, Beijing-Qinhuangdao railway, Datong-Qinhuangdao railway, houma-Tueshan railway, Baoji-Zhongwei railway and Beijing-Kowloon railway. It has taken part in the construction of tens of highways including Xi'an-Baoji expressway in Shaanxi, Turpan-Urumqi-Dahuangshan expressway in Xinjiang, Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou expressway in Zhejiang, Nanchang-Zhangzhou expressway in Jiangxi and Baodi-Shanhaiguan expressway in Hebei. The total length of constructed bridge and tunnel is 310.5km and 387.9km long respectively. The total amount of completed earthworks reaches to 426000000m3. It has also undertaken the construction of Xi'an Hilton Hotel, Xiangyang international airport and Guangzhou subway and other municipal engineering. It has also undertaken large and medium overseas projects. At present, its operation forces are scatters over 20 provinces, cities and autonomous regions.
